On this Louisiana type building of 1200 m2, wishing to take advantage of the EPP assistance plan put in place, the breeders called on Pascal GRANSEIGNE of the company MEF to modernize and make more competitive their poultry workshop.
We jointly went to the site to find that the curtains of the building were at the end of life and that they should be replaced by thermal curtains. Equivalent to a sandwich panel of 40 mms or 10 cms of glass wool, this «customized thermal curtains» solution perfectly met their needs.
In 2013, the price of a ton of gas peaked at nearly €1,000, so it was obvious to also think about heat recovery. With the technician at Force Centre, the solution of the progressive PRC180 quickly became indispensable. Beyond the recovery of calories, this solution would allow this building to better start each of its batches, improving the weak points while retaining the positive points and all at a lower cost.
Not wishing to change the regulation of their building, Systel has also developed a automaton to independently control the PRC180.
After several years now, the gas saving achieved thanks to curtains and PRC180 flirts with 45% with results, being in a high average.
