EARL CHEVALIER – Saint Christophe du Ligneron (85) – FRANCE

Installation of a heated floor

The objective was to build 2 buildings of 1 800m2 side by side with a central hot water production common to the 2 buildings.
Preventing the future, this avant-garde project is part of a long-term vision of our business.
The hot water underfloor heating used for years in our homes finds its place in our poultry workshops, because, it is a different way of seeing «indirect combustion».

Savings at all levels

No more CO2 and H2O linked to combustion, no more risk of poisoning, no more maintenance of the 60 radiants necessary for such a project.

Started since late 2013 we can now draw some conclusions, the level of litter melted like snow in the sun reducing by 4 its quantity, the healthier and drier atmosphere of the building increases the quality of work of the breeder.
The fact that the heat comes from the ground and continuously eradicates purely and simply any risk of pododermatite which today is a real advantage, especially for slaughterhouses.

From a technical point of view, we recommended the installation of two thermal modules of 280kw with condensation, which allows a low gas consumption.

Nearly 20 kilometers of tubes were needed to uniformly restore heat and homogenize the entire surface.
Our process makes it possible to cover 100% of the heating need without any additional heaters or gas generators.
