As part of the renovation of its heating in its 6 Post Sevrage rooms, the breeder chose a heat pump to produce hot water.
The constraint with heat pumps is that the water temperature does not exceed 55°C, which is usually a problem, for the diffusion of heating in a PS room, because the animals feel a speed of cold air and this has, for significant and direct consequences, lower zootechnical performance.
The breeder and the company CS ELEC opted for the hot water unit heater SYSTEL AEC25, because this product has the particularity of being equipped with an EC fan (Modulant), which draws air through a hot water battery. The modulation of the fan via a 0/10 volt signal is essential in the diffusion of hot air in the room, because it avoids any fall of air on the animals.
Installed since 2014, the devices give full satisfaction to the breeder. We have the comfort of heating expected, and in addition the devices are very easy to maintain with their hood system on slides.
